MY OFF-ROAD LIFESTYLE
It’s not about miles per gallon, it’s about smiles per gallon. I love to adventure and test the limits of myself and my Jeep. The off-road community is home. The peacefulness of wandering through the wilderness in four wheel drive is what I crave. Making jokes over the handheld radios and seeing places that few get to witness. Conquering an obstacle or eating ham & cheese sandwiches next to a cliff. It’s always a fun day when it’s off the beaten path.
My personal Jeep is a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited (LJ). Considered the unicorn because less than 13,000 were made. I named her “Eleanor” after the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 fastback from the movie Gone In 60 Seconds, which was also referred to as a unicorn in the movie. That influenced several design features of my Jeep, like the Black and silver color scheme, dual stripes down the side, 5 spoke wheels, and a fastback style soft top.
I bought my Jeep completely stock in 2015. Since then, I have lifted it on a 3.5-inch Metalcloak short-arm suspension kit, Fox 2.0 performance shocks, 35-inch Milestar Tires on 15-inch Fuel wheels, Motobilt front and rear bumpers that have been powder coated, Warn Winch, KC HiLites headlights and spotlights, Stinger speakers and subwoofer, EchoMaster rearview mirror camera system, MasterTop soft top, and so much more.
